HANDLING NEGATIVE EMOTIONS
IN HCI

Poor relationship with teacher or coach
Possible CAUSES
-
Personality (rude to teachers, unwilling to give your best)
-
Lack of skills and dedication in your CCA
As a RESULT
> Due to your behaviour and actions, your teacher or coach is unhappy with you as he/she feels that you are lazy and reluctant to go for CCA.
the Negative Emotion
Frustrated and disappointed when your teacher or coach constantly reprimands you because you constantly miss CCA practices or are rude to them
What you CAN DO
1) Develop an interest for your CCA.
Do not take on a negative view on your CCA。
It is not healthy to always think pessimistically and feel like you have wasted four years of your life.
It is better to think positive of your CCA, for example, treat it as a new experience.
2) Be willing to give your best in your CCA.
Try to meet your CCA’s expectations of you in terms of skills, dedication and attendance.
Change your poor attitude towards CCA so that you are more interested in CCA and more willing to put in time and effort to improve on your CCA.
3) Reflect on your own mistakes and change your behaviour for the better.
Changes start from yourself, and it is necessary as it will also help you in your future decision-making.
After all, it is an important decision yourself.
You can do this by writing a journal or diary daily, to keep track of your CCA life in school.
