Distracted from computer games at home such as LOL, DOTA etc.

Constant gaming without being able to prioritise what is more important

Poor setting of priorities - gaming before work
As a RESULT
> Incomplete work and last minute studying
> Lack of focus when trying to complete a task
> Feeling sleepy in school due to late night gaming

Disappointed that you cannot resist the temptation to game
Frustrated that there are lots of work when in fact it is due to poor time management
Disappointed that you are unable to control your gaming time
What you CAN DO
1) Best is not to game, if not, manage your gaming time.
Set a time limit e.g. maximum 2 games per day after work and before midnight.
Do not get addicted to gaming.
Prioritise your tasks appropriately and complete those tasks that are due early as soon as possible.
Complete your homework and other more important stuff first before gaming.
At the end of the day, you can see that controlled gaming does help
2) Resist the temptation to game.
Engage in other hobbies such as watching television or hanging out / playing sports with friends.
These are better and healthier alternatives to gaming alone.
After understanding the consequences of addictive gaming, the other options to spend your time are definitely better options.
3) Seek help from your parents or peers.
Seek advice on how to control your gaming time.
Ask your parents to restrict you from gaming too often.
They will be able to provide you with suggestions on how to quit your addiction to gaming.
