What you CAN DO
1) Learn to manage your time and sort out your priorities.
It is advisable to complete your homework before you do other things.
Exercise proper control over the amount of time you spend on certain activities.
For example, do not leave your homework to the end to complete.
2) Finish your work as early as possible.
Once you reach home, try to complete your homework as soon as possible.
Do not get distracted by other things.
With such a habit, you will clear off your worries about not being able to complete work on time to submit it the next day.
You will then be able to complete work in the day, and have adequate time to rest later.
3) Sleep early to ensure that you have sufficient sleep.
You will not feel tired and fall back asleep when you wake up for school the next day.
You will not wake up late because you have enough sleep already.
4) Wake up early to prepare for school.
It is not advisable to wake up late and only have very little time to prepare for school.
Rushing is also not a good habit as there is a higher percentage of you missing the bus or train to school.
Wake up early so that you have enough time to have breakfast, pack your bag, change into school uniform etc. to prepare for school.
5) Know how much time you need to go to school and plan your schedule.
Always leave some time for unpredictable incidents that may happen, for instance, traffic jams or bus/train breakdowns.
For example, if school starts at 7.20am, and you take 1 hour to arrive to school from home, leave your house at 6.00am.
This will ensure that even if you encounter a traffic jam later, you will still be able to reach school on time.
